Casinacho Games

Casinacho Games is a bundle of short arcade challenges wrapped in a bright, cartoonish style. You tap through a menu of little games, each with its own simple goal, and try to beat your own best score. It's built for short sessions, which suits a phone perfectly.

The controls are the highlight for us. Everything works with taps and swipes, the response feels instant, and there's no clumsy virtual joystick fighting your thumb. The tutorial is mercifully short, and the game trusts you to figure out the rest. We appreciated how each mini-game loads fast, so you're never staring at a spinner.

After a week of playing on the train we kept coming back to a couple of the timing-based challenges. They're the kind of thing you replay just to shave off a second. The presentation stays cheerful without getting loud, and the whole thing runs fine on older hardware.
